Acquisitions!!!!

Huh … I am fretful of this very word – Acquisition!!!
Though it has nothing to deal with my personal rapport... Still I would say it has refined my life and my decisions in some mode... 

No laurels for guessing that … Hewlett-Packard buys Palm for $1.2 bn!!!

Right since I was born, it made an acquisition of 116 companies... may be in a run to pace up with the Guinness book of records in terms of ACQUISTIONS!!!
And right since I am into the ‘World of Addicting Software’ i.e. 31.07.2007...
I have too made a mark of HP continuing to acquire other companies to inflate its industry, you do not go wrong if you say it software or hardware or networks or a go for high-end electronic gadgets like cell phones or touch screens or PDA’s!!

Recession – Something which affects globally but the software people to the utmost!! They are the chaps who are laid off from their breads. They are again the ones running around for getting through a job with a resume in their hands. Torments come to them like bolt from the blue!
Last those who stick to them do not have a clamber in any terms!!!

Hewlett-Packard... Go as per recent statistics is the third Largest technology company in the World in terms of revenue and ranks 14th in the fortune 500!!!
Isn’t that an awe-inspiring mark made?????

But what a wreck! Who in this world would believe that this Employer has not extended any hikes to its employees neither in terms of finance nor benefits!!
Till Q3 of 2009, we were making profits. But what a helix, Q4 pops-up with recession consequences!!!
And employees are not profited with any hikes but are definitely given some blare reason for the same!! Deductions were made the previous year but no hikes the running year!
This ends with financial year of 2009.

Q1 of 2010... Comes with a commemorating mail of HP acquiring 3com... What a blow!!!

And now that I no more hold an employee ID of Hewlett-Packard, but again no laurels here too.. For why did I quit! LOL!, I still get a waft when I see HP still acquiring companies at the cost of making its employee walk out!

I mercy you people, please walk out…The door is wide open... Expose yourself to the world … Expose your intelligence and you will see – The world is much more a better place to live-in!!!!

There was no reason of scribbling...Just that I went through headlines of TOI, and this article is here!!!
